Timber Drive Power Feed
Take the effort out of pushing your saw head with the Byers TimberTech Timber Drive. Designed for Woodland Mills and MechMaxx sawmills, the Timber Drive provides smooth, reliable power feed while still allowing the saw head to be moved manually when fine adjustments are needed.
Available in two versions:
- Standard Timber Drive
- Timber Drive with End-of-Track Limit Switches for automatic stopping at the ends of the track.
The Timber Drive works as a standalone power feed or can be paired with the Commander Setworks for automated saw head positioning. Together, they provide fast, accurate, and repeatable cuts with minimal operator effort.
Powered by a high-torque gearmotor, the Timber Drive delivers smooth, adjustable feed speeds for cutting and a faster return speed between cuts. A weather-resistant control box houses the forward/reverse speed controller, allowing you to fine-tune the feed rate for different wood species and cutting conditions.
The system uses durable 5/16" drive rope instead of chain, providing quiet operation, easy installation, and low maintenance.
